As Bandit Industries navigates the challenges of COVID-19, the health and safety of our employees, dealership network, vendors, and customers remains our highest priority. Based upon received information from the United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), Bandit has taken the following actions:
|*||Limiting Business Travel –this includes cancelling all international travel and reducing domestic travel drastically to include only essential US travel for our team members.
|*||Educating and arming our employees with key techniques and best practices to help combat the spread of germs, including frequent hand-washing, cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, reducing personal greetings, and social distancing
|*||Eliminating our participation in all trade shows, conferences, and training seminars through Mid-April.
|*||Restricting access to our all facilities on our campus which in turn limits potential exposure to our Bandit Team Members.|
During this time of uncertainty we remain focused on helping our partners stay competitive and providing the necessary resources in continuing to help them stay on a trajectory for continued growth and success.
As an Essential Business and Operation that supports Essential Infrastructure, Bandit will maintain operations and continue to support our customers, which also work in Essential Infrastructure Industries. The State of Michigan is under a “Stay at Home” order effective March 24 through April 13th. Like similar measures taken in California, Ohio, Illinois, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York to curb the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the order limits most travel outside of the home. Although this is a new development and not all details are available, we will update you as needed.
The President’s COVID-19 Guidelines for America state that companies working in an Essential Infrastructure industry as defined by the Department of Homeland Security have a special responsibility to remain in operation. These sectors include but are not limited to healthcare and public health, food and agriculture, and manufacturers who produce and distribute forest products, including, but not limited to timber, paper and other wood products. Updated information may also be found on our website at banditchippers.com under our COVID-19 tab.
We appreciate your business and support during these unprecedented times. We will continue to communicate with our dealers, customers and partners as this situation continues to develop on a day by day basis. Please stay safe and healthy.
