Model 2680
Beast Recycler
Model 2680

The Model 2680 was designed for those tree services, loggers, govermental agencies, and land clearing contractors that want a heavy-duty grinder that is easy to transport. This unit features a 24-inch by 60-inch mill opening and engine options ranging from 365- to 440-horsepower. The 2680 has numerous teeth and screen options that will allow you to custom fit your Beast for the type of grinding you will be doing. This unit is a real work horse: it has been noted to produce 300 or more yards per hour.

The Model 2680 features a patented cuttermill system that actually breaks material apart by cutting and splitting as opposed to the beating action used by traditional  grinders. This system, along with a high-torque drive, allows the 2680 to reduce large diameter materials with ease. Brush, logs, whole trees, stumps, logging waste, land clearing waste, C&D, railroad ties, telephone poles, sawmill waste, pallets, slabs, bark and chunk wood pose no problem for the Model 2680. This unit is especially effective in converting a variety of unwanted materials into useable products like compost, landscaping mulch, boiler fuel, animal bedding and more. The 2680 comes standard with a tether remote control, and can be equipped with optional radio remote that will allow the unit to be controlled from a excavator or other remote locations. Be sure to look at some of the popular options to custom fit to the 2680. These options include a hydraulic thrower for loading end-opening chip vans and the Color Critter system that will allow you to make a high dollar colored mulch. For those of whose main focus is grinding pallets, green waste, or brush, a 30-tooth Dragonhead set-up option is available.
