This rugged, compact stump grinder is an ideal machine for tree services, municipalities, and rental companies looking for a dependable self-propelled grinder with the ultimate maneuverability. Recent changes to this unit have made it the most versatile stump grinder available in its class. The Model 2150XP now features engine horsepower options up to 38 horsepower and is equipped with the new Tap & Turn GREENTEETH®.
The 2150XP now can be equipped with three different steering axle assemblies (2-wheel drive tight-turn unit, 2-wheel drive zero-turn unit with dual tires, and a 4-wheel drive unit).
The Model 2150XP tight turn unit (pictured left) features a hydraulic motor positioned above the steering assembly, this set-up allows the 2150XP to maneuver and turn quicker than any other grinder in its class. Time spent traveling and positioning the grinder next to each stump is significantly reduced, increasing production.
The Model 2150XP tri-wheel unit with dual tires (pictured middle) has been widely used overseas. This set-up, called the zero-turn unit, further enhances the mobility of the 2150XP, allowing it to turn in any direction. Positioning the 2150XP with this zero-turn unit is simple and quick!
If your jobs consistently involve traveling over rough or soft soil conditions, then the Model 2150XP 4 x 4 unit (pictured right) is for you. This set-up significantly enhances the drive power, allowing the 2150XP to travel over rough terrain better than any grinder in its class. The steering axle features a cylinder that gives the 2150XP a uniform turning radius.
Flotation tires have been added to the 2150XP, increasing the overall flotation of the unit. Dual tires are now standard for all engine options, increasing its stability.
A popular option for the Model 2150XP is a radio remote control with tether backup, allowing the unit to be controlled from a remote location. Operators can control all grinder functions away from the dust and debris.
