The Model 3400 is our mid-sized land clearing machine. Equipped with a 140-horsepower Caterpillar or 200-horsepower John Deere engine, this unit is a dream come true for land clearing applications. The Model 3400 features a hydrostatic drive sytem similar to that of our Model 4000.

The 3400 has a heavy-duty frame that provides a stable grinding platform. This unit is propelled by a Caterpillar 305CR rubber-tracked undercarriage that can be set for creep, low, or high speed. The 3400 comes standard with a radio remote control that includes a cutter-wheel engagement switch. All grinder functions can be controlled from this remote control, including the grading blade (standard on all units.)

With a chip containment capacity of 70 cubic inches and a ground clearance of 20 inches, big stumps are no match for the 3400. This unit can be serviced and maintained quickly, meaning less down time for your operation.
